Course Structure

The Course consists of 15 weeks of 3-hour training sessions, totaling 45hours with the integration of theories and applied sessions to consolidate competencies in Professional Teacher Training for Pilates Practice and Fitness Management.  

Course Sessions breakdown:

• 6 hours (Common Core Basics)

• 12 hours (Reformer)

• 12 hours (Mat-work Training)

• 15 hours (Pilates Equipment such as Wanda Chair, Barrel, and Cadillac)

 

 Course Curriculum 

– Language: Cantonese/ English (with English terminology)  

– Passing Requirements: 50% attendance + 70% practical + 70% written exam  

– Prerequisite: Pilates certification (Reformer trainers preferred)  

– Completion Window: Max 1 year    

 

Written Exam Structure:

 – Teaching demonstration evaluation  

– Theory (20 True/False + 30 MCQs, 70% pass)  

 

Practical Exam Structure:

Demonstration of 46 examination movements within 30 minutes in applying Pilates principles across various apparatus  to meet the required standards and 30 minutes in Teaching skills

If student already hold certification in Mat work  and Reformer Instructor, student may directly enroll in the Professional Pilates Teacher  Certification program. Student will only need to participate in the Reformer  assessment and submit the examination result
